Deddington is an idyllic village in the Cotswolds, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, famous for its rolling hills and perfect English villages. Deddington attracts many visitors with its beautiful honey-coloured stone buildings, historic market place and stunning surrounding countryside. It has all the peace and rural tranquillity of a small village, but also has the advantages of excellent amenities including a variety of pubs and restaurants, shops, a library and a sports centre with tennis courts. The village holds regular artistic and musical events, including concerts, the regular Farmers' Market was judged the second best in the whole of the UK, and there is a two-week Deddington Festival of art, theatre and music in the summer. Deddington has very good transport links, located as it is on the A4620 between Oxford and Banbury, only 6 miles south of Banbury and ten minutes from Junction 10 of the M40. It offers excellent access to Banbury, Bicester or Brackley for corporate visitors to those areas, and superb access to Oxford and the glories of the Cotswolds for holiday visitors. Woodstock and Blenheim Palace are a beautiful ten-minute drive away, Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon are half an hour away and Deddington is also an excellent base for visitors to Silverstone race circuit.
