This is a beautifully presented, bright and sunny one-bedroom apartment opening onto a delightful and private patio garden.  It is very well-furnished and decorated and sleeps one person or a couple in a quiet location close to the city centre and only five minutes' walk from Magdalen Bridge and the High Street. The apartment is in a modern crescent just behind the main Iffley Road out of Oxford city centre and backs onto the University of Oxford sports grounds. It is on the ground floor and consists of a living room with dining area, a double bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. It opens onto a spacious patio area with elegant table and chairs for outdoor dining and relaxation. Within easy walking distance of the city centre 1.5 kms away, the apartment is also very near the shops and restaurants of St Clements and Cowley Road.

  • The living room is good-sized and very attractively furnished with comfortable easy chairs, a desk and chair for private study, glass dining table and four chairs and TV, all in the elegant cream and neutral colours which are used throughout the apartment. Mirrors and pictures on the wall and a rug on the floor give a warm homelike feel.
  • The double bedroom is very light and attractive with secure double glass doors opening onto the charming patio with its flowering plants. It contains a double bed with bedside tables, mirrored wardrobe, dressing table and stool.
  • The bathroom is spacious, elegant and well-designed with a shower cubicle and  powerful shower, plus sink toilet and heated towel rack. It is beautifully tiled and finished in beige and cream and there is always plenty of hot water.
  • The kitchen is extremely well-equipped for guests with all cooking facilities including a double oven, plus a washing machine, fridge and freezer. It has plenty of storage cupboards and a small breakfast table with stools for informal dining. This room also has a door onto the patio garden.
  • The apartment occupies the ground floor of the 3-storey house (the owner lives above) and faces away from the busy Iffley Road to the university sports grounds. It is very quiet and peaceful; in good weather, guests can make use of the table and chairs on the patio and enjoy this beautiful and enclosed area.
  • There is off-road parking for two cars.

Local area and amenities
This self-catering apartment in Oxford has excellent local amenities with the many small shops (including newsagents, chemists and small supermarkets) and restaurants of Iffley Road, St Clements and Cowley Road 5 or 10 minutes away. The full facilities of the city centre are only 1.5 kms away making this an ideal choice for both Oxford holiday lettings or corporate bookings.


Access to the city centre
As the apartment is located off the main Iffley Road just to the east of Oxford, the route to the city centre could hardly be more beautiful, taking visitors across stunning Magdalen Bridge straight up the historic High Street, with colleges on either side, to the city epicentre at the top of the High Street. The walk takes 20 minutes, or there is a frequent bus service along the Iffley Road making it a very convenient location for a short stay in Oxford.
