Bowley House is a comfortable, three-bedroom detached stone cottage in the heart of the Cotswold village of Woodstock, one minute from Blenheim Palace. It has just been completely redecorated and refurbished and provides perfect holiday accommodation for up to four people. The cottage consists of a living room and a kitchen diner downstairs, and three bedrooms (a double bedroom and two single bedrooms) and a bathroom upstairs. Woodstock is 10kms from Oxford, in the Cotswolds, one of the most beautiful areas of England, and home to Blenheim Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

• The living room is good-sized and comfortably furnished with two two-seater leather sofas
• The bedrooms are all simply but elegantly fitted with oak furniture throughout
• The master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table
• The two single rooms each have a single bed, wardrobe and bedside table, and the larger one also has a chest of drawers
• The bathroom is stylishly tiled in white and combines bath and overhead shower
• The kitchen is newly fitted in attractive beech wood and contains everything you will need for your stay; it contains a beech table and chairs for dining
• The cottage is one of several built round a quiet, private stone courtyard; outdoor furniture is available for visitors to enjoy meals in the courtyard in good weather
• There is off street parking for two cars. Spaces are not allocated or guaranteed, but there is rarely any problem with parking.

Location and access

Woodstock is 10kms from Oxford, a fifteen-minute drive by car and there is a good bus service. It is surrounded by the beautiful hills and villages of the Cotswolds, which are a delight to explore.

Local area and amenities

Woodstock is a small town with excellent amenities. It has shops of all types, from a supermarket, chemist and butcher's to exclusive clothes, gift and antique shops. It is extremely well-furnished with hotels, pubs and restaurants, and also has a historic Town Hall, a library and an outdoor swimming pool, open in the summer months. Woodstock also offers visitors all the attractions of Blenheim Palace, with its beautiful park, gardens and lake.
