There is a regular bus service to Oxford and Abingdon from Wootton village, a 10-minute walk away.

Dry Sandford is set in an area of small, pretty Oxfordshire villages and lovely countryside, conveniently close to the attractive Thames-side town of Abingdon and to Oxford city. The village has a very nice pub serving good food and an interesting nature reserve, Dry Sandford Pit. The nearby village of Wootton has various shops including a supermarket and chemist.
